Given the immense amount of mods available on Steam Workshop, I could use some help finding the best ones for what I'm looking for. That being:
- choosing starting leader traits and not having them disappear if election fails
- doing away with pre-set equal starting systems and instead getting to explore the starting system from scratch
- improved diplomacy (though I doubt something like federation merging exists, it would be awesome)
- more anomalies
- more archeological digs
- more events
- more planetary features & more types of planets, for more colony variety
- more AI personalities/civics/traits (but within reason)
- something to limit the number of habitats or allow dismantling them
- ability to have medium 4-arm spiral galaxy, or ideally a real Milky Way map

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Also, not on your list, but I would highly recommend the Stellaris Music Expansion Pack. It has a bunch of specially-composed tracks specifically for Stellaris, and they're really beautiful and fit the game extremely well.
