I am looking for an option to move the UI closer to the middle of the Super Ultra wide screen (49"). I found a few mods but these are not working with the current version.
Another option is to use custom resolution in windowed mode. The predefined resolutions are not good enough to fill the space between the start bar and the top of the screen.
 
There is no facility in the game provided to move the UI within the game screen I'm afraid - only a mod custom-written to achieve that could do it AFAICS.

As to supported resolutions, they are listed in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/system.log - if none of those suit your video setup, I'm not aware of way of using others, I am sorry!
