Odd probablam i have when playing EU:
I start the game and almost 5 minutes into it the cursor becomes notable less manoverable, about 10 minutes in i have to double and triple click to get the game to acknowlage a single click, and by 15-20 minutes i have completly lost control and i can bearly even aim at the exit button...does anyone know what i can do?
My computer is more than capable, its a p800 voodoo 5 with free space of 700 mb in one drive and 3 gb in the other so i should be ok...right?

Try defragging your drives. Also kill any other running app you can before you start EU. Try EU in the no music mode, see if that helps.

I dont think i need to defrag and i must admit its something I think I'll save as a last resort due to the amount of time it takes.
I dont seem to have music anyway, but it could be playing silently, and that could well cause trouble as my sound card doesnt seem to be working as well as it should, so i'll try actually turning it off its thats possible.

In case these ideas dont work, I would appretate i few more if anybody can work it out.

Thankyou for your help.

To play with no music using the 1.09 patch:
Go to Start/Programs/Paradox Entertainment
There you will find an icon to run the game without music. No music files are loaded so the game will run quicker.
Before doing so - Use Ctrl+Alt+Delete and close down all programs but Explorer and Systray.
Make sure that any anti virus/firewalls etc are disabled.

The fact that you have mouse problems suggests a sound problem.

The Power

Okay this should work, but its sprising EU takes up so much memory power from my computer...then again its been crap at doing 2D games ever since i replaced the Video card with a 3D card(ran out of slots).

Anyway, thanks, from the few times Ive played the game unintruped by lag it looks like one of the best RTSs in my collection!
