Yes, right before a mysterious outbreak of hysteria leads to the unavoidable downfall of your civilization. Will there be references to Lovecraft and Lovecraftesque things in game?
There is literally a Chtuluesque race. So yes again.
Meh. Potato potato.What?
FIrstly, these are mollusks, not 'chtulu-like' race
Secondly, this is not even 'race' but one of 'phenotypes' for races to be based on: races can be mammalian (for example humans), reptilian, avian, insectoid, fungus or mollusk.
I don't think that expression works very well in text.Meh. Potato potato.
I'd like to see them represented as true incomprehensible nightmares instead of just octopussed faced green men if they do show up.
I, for one, welcome our new horror beyond imagination overlords.Speaking of which here's another though, what if instead of fighting the abominations, you instead give in to the dark cult spreading through your empire and conquer in the name of your new masters.
That actually brings up another thought now that I think of it.I, for one, welcome our new horror beyond imagination overlords.
I'd love to see that. What really is the distinction between a 10th dimensional being and a god? That actually brings up another thought now that I think of it.
Since extra-dimensional horrors have been confirmed, what about semi-deity figures that actually exist as the heads of in-game religions.
If you have a system based on the Gods Need Prayer Badly notion then you can prevent it from becoming OP.
Just a thought.

The amount of worship?I'd love to see that. What really is the distinction between a 10th dimensional being and a god?
