Hi, I just purchased CK2 through the humble bundle, and installed CK2 through steam onto my Macbook. When pressing play the game fails to start, showing error message "Failed to start game (Missing Executable)"

Here are my system specs:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

The steps that I have tried so far all failed, but include:

-Reinstalling
-Removing local content and trying each of the Betas in turn
-Verifying game files
-Deleted steam's 'Appcache' folder
-Restarted computer
-Flushed steam files

If the executable ck2.app was really missing, the Verify would find and fix that. But you can check by going into your Steam client; right-click on CK2 and do Properties, Local Files, Browse Local Files - you see it there?

Also, go to Steam-CK2-properties-beta tab, and make sure you are not in any CK2 beta version there, it should show Opt Out Of All Betas.

Yeah, it would appear c2k.app is missing, and a system wide search hasn't found it either. However there is an .app file called crusader kings II showing the steam logo.

Verify insists that everything is fine, and reinstall doesn't fix the issue

It looks like we're having a problem with CK2 delivered via that Humble Bundle. While I raise the issue backstage, I suggest you take it up with Humble, and then with Steam as well.
