I am running the game in Steam on a Mac laptop. When I start the game I get a normal Colossal Order splash screen and Paradox Interactive splash screen, then for an instant I see something that looks like a normal start menu that immediately flashes and is replaced by the attached image. By random experimentation I found out that if I disable my laptop's discrete graphics card and relied only on the integrated card the problem does not happen, but this is obviously not great for smooth gameplay.
