Hello,

I really love CiM, but what makes me really sad is the fact that CiM seems to use the available resources so poorly - at least in my case.
What do I mean by that?
I rum CiM on a Macbook Pro /w i7 2.2 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1GB VRAM, OSX 10.7. Initially, everything looks fine. But when I have built a handful of lines (say, ten subway lines in NY) and put it in fast forward, the fps really drops and it becomes virtually unplayable. To build new stuff, I sometimes even have to pause the game (system cursor is already on) - that depends on map size and on how many lines I already got.
But when I look at the CPU usage, I get only about 22-25% max usage - why is that, and can this be improved? I mean, if the CPU would be maxed out, I'd understand, but not like this...

Thanks,
mexell

It is maxed out, but for one core only. CiM unfortunately doesn't seem to be able to properly work with multicore CPUs, on both PC and Mac.
I have a similar problem on an older i7 2.66, where it gets even worse since the 4 cores on Arrandale are virtual, so it uses 1/2 of one core only.
