If I try to run the tools of Inferis, all what happens is that the black command prompt window pops up and closes instantly.
The only tool that seems to work is the mcolor.exe tool.

Can anyone help me with that?

You have to run the tools in command prompt/dos-console/ms-dos mode (depending on your version of windows).
