I just bought Magicka off Steam a few days ago and i realized i couldn't heal my character. In the demo i was able to heal myself as much as i wanted. When I play online others can't seem to heal me as well. I would love to fully enjoy the game without having to have people online to finish it for me thank you.

Do you have shield cast on you? I you have shield on, your heal actually boosts the shield.
Maybe you have a special robe, too. The space marine and the tron robes are imune to life.
you can heal yourself with lightning while wearing the tron robes (you're a cyber being
