I've used the search function and have not found an answer to my question. I had purchased Majesty 2 and the first expack on Steam. I had just noticed today that Impulse is selling the second expack and I can not seem to locate that on Steam, is Paradox refusing to sell expack 2 on Steam? As I do enjoy the game (and from the trailers on expack 3) I do hope they come out on Steam so I do not have to rebuy them on Impulse or another program.

If anyone has any news or info I may have missed, please let me know. :)

You can also rebuy Majesty 2 with its expansions on gamersgate for just a few $ during the sale which lasts 5 days from now on.

I thought you can just add the keys into impulse. I bought Majesty 2 on CD and bought the Expansion Packs through Impulse. In impulse go to Registrations Add Registration and add your CD Key for Majesty 2.

EDITED : I did try to buy from gamersgate. and install and it's automatically detected my steam majesty 2 and if i start the game using steam, it's also detected =)

I'm trying to install Gamersgate Kingmaker onto Steam Majesty 2 and while I can detect the steam installation it can't install the expansion. Gives me error 183: Cannot create file that already exists.

edit: Kingmaker will not install however BoA does.

I just registered and registered my game to post here. Which was really really annoying seeing as this is the slowest forum I've ever used :s

But anyway, I've finished Majesty 2 and Kingmaker several times now. I have over 70 hours played on steam and I really love the game.

I really really wish that Paradox would put the next two expansions on Steam. I really hate having games spread out and would much rather have all my games on Steam. I heard that Paradox have submitted the files to steam, but they just haven't put them on? Not sure if there's any truth in that; but I really wish they'd put the expansions there already :(

Atleast some explanation would be nice, I realize they're not entitled to give any; but just to give some hope that the expansions will, or as that case may be, won't be coming on Steam would be nice. If they wouldn't I guess I'd have to resort to buying the expansions some other place :wacko:

Yes the Kingmaker installer is buggy. BoA and MK work though. IIRC there's a forum post here somewhere which gives instructions on how to Kingmaker to install with your steam game. If you ever figure it out, word of warning - reinstall BoA expansion afterwords. The game gets a little confused if you install the expansions out of order.
