Majesty 2 Collection

I recently purchased Majesty 2 Collection, as I wanted to get the expansions for the original retail game I had. To my surprise the game actually requires steam and is not a retail version.

I'm posting this message to express my deep dissatisfaction on the fact that you published a retail game that only works on steam.

Edit: I figured out that the game can indeed run offline (without needing steam at all) by running the majesty2.exe directly from game (steam's) folder, so it's not as bad as I originally thought.

I am having problems with my Amazon verion of the M2 collection it does not contain the DLC that comes with the normal collection or some other DL places.

New content with in the Majesty 2 Collection:
■2 New Classes (Ice Mage, Assassin)
■6 Spells
■9 Abilities
■8 Missions
■6 Weapon Upgrades

Unless I am missing something that I need to do to trigger the DLC IF it was included in the expanions I got.

When the game starts, on the main menu there should be a "DLC" button. If you do not have that button then you did not install the "Majesty 2 Collection". Make sure you actually bought the "Majesty 2 Collection" and not something else that just bundled M2 + the expansions.

I bought hte Majesty 2 collection from gamersgate. Works and everything.

But I'm still dissapointed. It's like modding has been butchered. And I can't even edit the save files (edit heroes of cash) because they're not encrypted.

If you know how to mod, you can make things for free like buildings and units but they probably secured the savegames because they would
know that some people would like to cheat by having a lot of money, so the only explanation for that is to make you play without cheats.

I know how to mod, and I already found a way around it.

It just seems unnecessary to encrypt savegames.
Before I could edit heroes (their stats, equipment ,name, etc..) directly.

I said around it.. I edit other files to give me a bit better control over my heroes and their progression, but sadly, still can't edit the savegame.
Their starting perks are changed, as well as their progression apperance - the bonuses/penlaties are still randomized tough.
