no seriously, make Yazd a center of Religion. Any region that took this long to convert after the Muslim invasions, while still being almost consistantly in their hands, should not be so easy to convert that in 8 months they're gone from the beginning of the game. And isn't Yazd to this day a center of the Zoarastrian Faith? And while being a Majority Shia, has a large number of Zoarastrians living there, to the point that City council has a member of that religion.

Yazd didn't take this long to get converted after Muslim invasions. In reality yazd was Sunni at game start and remained muslim dominated throughout the timeline. Muslim population probably numbered 80% of the in game province's population. Perhaps more. Zoroastrianism did exist but it was followed by a very small minority. The reason it's Zoroastrian in-game is that religions are gone once they are not present in any provinces and the players wanted a way to convert to Zoroastrianism. Having this province be not only wrong religion but also impossible tpcomvert until later in game is ridiculous.

Having it be Zoroastrian is a big stretch already so I don’t think the religious center modifier would make sense to be honest.
