I'm wondering if the default 2D LUTs (colour correction look up tables) exist somewhere, so that we can take those files and make adjustments to them based on screenshots that we might have taken using them. I had a look around but couldn't find them anywhere.

For anyone who doesn't know, one of the easiest/quickest ways to edit colour correction luts outside of grading software is to make adjustments to your original image and LUT simultaenously. Using this LUT then applies the same transformations to other images.

If possible, could someone or the devs post the default Skylines LUTs?

edit: I guess the only other way to do this in the meantime is to use a neutral LUT (I'm thinking of using the one from UDK, not sure if Unity has one), although I'd much rather work from the existing ones, since they're set up for the game.

Thanks for the link, looks like a neutral LUT? I just tried using a neutral one right before you posted and actually the in-game graphics are not too far off from some of the default colour corrections. I think I can work my way forwards using this. The game looks quite nice with those muted graphics, as well :)

edit: my first effort at a simple afternoon neutral/realistic LUT, Neutralistic.

happy to help cinephile, I also prefer to use are more neutral LUT as well. I make all my own textures, and over saturated luts change them to much, tbh i prefer using skydomes with real time of day script and shaders that reflect how sunlight works IRL.

I would use those kind of things as well, for sure, if they didn't disable achievements :( I guess you can probably use SweetFX to do some nice HDR, but I am not sure that my PC would handle that on top of downsampling already. The LUT I made sort of emulates HDR anyway due to the levels I used. But yeah.
