[Hello all, my first post here...]

I seem to get the occasional situation (every single game I've played since buying EU:R Gold, in fact) in which my manpower drops to zero and despite saying that it is increasing by n every month it sticks at zero. Moreover, it never drops to zero because of me - I may conscript so many of my people that I've got fewer than a thousand in reserve, and that's normally when it goes to zero and doesn't come back again. Obviously this makes the game unplayable for me.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or whether or not I'm doing something wrong. Saving and reloading doesn't seem to help the matter, and I can't find any mention of it happening to anybody else.

Help please!

(I don't imagine it makes a difference but I'm running EU:R Gold 2.1 through Wine on Jaunty.)

Make sure that none of your armies are suffering from attrition due to being over their province's supply limit. That's the most common cause of this manpower issue, in which case it is not a bug at all.

It's often caused by setting the maintenance slider too far to the left. It's easy to forget about it as you only get a warning when you are at war.

Edit: Sorry, that's nonsense. I'm confusing manpower accumulation with army reinforcement.

Incidentally, if you have any questions about playing the game you should post in the main forum. You will get a much quicker response that way.
