Yes looking for the manual as well

Read somewhere that it was a link available earlier but was took down due to some error in the manual

Any kind soul can upload it so that I can read it this week end while waiting for the official release

The thread linking it was deleted because the manuel was really outdated and full of errors. I guess they want to clean it up and correct the mistakes before they make it available again.

Will the Boxed Copy Come with a Paper Manual?

Hi. The title pretty much said it all. About how many pages is the manual and will it be printed in the boxed copies being sold at say Amazon? I ask this because I am not a fan of reading pdf's off the computer screen and paradox manuals tend to be quite long. Thanks.

I thought Paradox gave up the retailer distribution of games, according to their own words.

Shame, evidently I have been prevented from responding to your request asking for the manual but, well I'm looking through the manual PDF, it seems fine. If you still want it, try looking over at twcenter, in their dedicated paradox games section or PM me. I can't post a link to help you i'm afraid, as it is apparently in contravention of the rules here. But seeing as there is no real tutorial it's kind of essential for newcomers. Even a veteran Rome player like myself needed to look up certain things.

Thanks Jace. Yeah, I guess I'll be getting the manual from the preorder soon, but even if it's outdated/incorrect in parts, it should give us a little bit of a head start.

Has "DLC" already become the new word for expansion? ;)

On Steam, hell yes :) . No longer they use expansion but DLC for almost every game. Probably because of the way they distribute the games.
