Manually Firing and event for another country

I used to know how to do this -- I am playing my own mod of 1.3 beta and would like to fire an event from say USA as my active player for Japan. I thought it was F12 "event whatever number JAP". Does not seem to work.

I thought it would work too. Tried event TAG XXX, TAG event XXX and event XXX TAG, none of them worked with ARM 1.2. Maybe this was somehow removed from the code ??

Thanks for trying. Something seems to have been changed in the last patch or two that prevents this. No problem. I can work around it. I just though for a moment I had gotten that disease that old people get but I can't remember what it's called. "Old Timers"! That's it! Gotta remember that Harry Truman was in charge here when I was born.

Nothing was changed in 1.3 about the "debug" console. Are you sure the event you are trying to fire hasn't already fired/been slept?
