Manually managing colonists. Always two?

I'm on the PS4 btw.

Last night I was working with assigning colonists manually. I had two colonists in happiness and since I had plenty of happiness, I wanted to move one of them to production slot, but when I moved, it kept assigning two. Back and forth same thing like there wasn't an option to do just one. Am I missing a mechanic design? Wrong button? Bug? Thanks.

I uncheck the auto mode and then each category becomes open and I use the left/right d-pad to add or subtract colonists.

On further reflection, I seem to recall having a similar problem on the diplomacy screen, so it may be my controller is registering two inputs for one press of a dpad. I'll try resetting my controller tonite, and if that doesn't clear it up I'll submit a bug report.

Hi again Scottgun, I think I responded to you in the bugs section but I'll just share it here as well. What you are experiencing is a known bug/issue for which we have a fix as apart of the upcoming console patch.
