Can someone explain how the map colors are supposed to work? I messed around with the colorscales.csv file a bit, and got some results, but I am still unsure what exactly the different lines for each color are there for, and what the index is supposed to do.
I also noticed that some countries use colour gray, while the colorscales file only has grey, still the color is is the one intended.

In the past, I fooled around with the colors a lot and almost figured out how the values work. But, I forget... Sorry. Btw, I set up several of the colors for EU2, HoI, and Vicky as published.

The names are meaningless - both in terms of what color they refer to and in whether they really match to game files. Or so I surmised a long time ago. It really seems that the game file values are translated to an offset into colorscales. The gray/grey thing surprises me, though. I must of mucked that up when I setup country.csv for the gold release...

I think it's more straightforward in CK.

For realm color, sprite and flag, you can play with country.csv in the db folder.

Yeah, but I guessed he wanted to change the actual colors, not what demesne gets what color.
