One thing I really like about CK2 is that the various mapmodes have muted, subtle colours in the provinces. It gives a sort of a classy feel to the map, and contrasts to some of EU3's grotesque political map colours (Croatia, anyone?). I hope this makes its way over to EU4, it seems a small issue but it can make all the difference IMO.
