Any tutorials on map editing? because i come from games were editors are just there and a massive community so the editors are all advanced and fixed up but this game. it would be cool to make a non earth senario for once.

Get an IDmap, I have one but I can't find it now. Then you have to modify the game files in the scenario. It is takes a long time.
It is my wish , that there is a tool for this, because you can make many faults by editing this. For example give a Region to 2 states. This can make the game crash
