Hello Lux Invicta team. You have a great mod here but there is something for me atleast that is worrying. I think the size of africa is too big and the areas further south then etheopia and mali are un interesting and not fun to play as.

It's the projection being used (taken from Umbra Spherae), which compresses Europe. We stretched it so Europe wasn't so squashed, but Africa got even bigger. We're moving to a new map based on CrackdToothGrin's map.

Nice thank you for telling me because that map makes everything slow

somehow, I half-feel like I've already heard-about/read-on/agreed-to this and half-can't remember ever even knowing about this :D

I think that was on a thread in the main forum

No idea. It's Futuregary working on it, and he isn't exactly talkative about his map modding progress.

Thats awesome to hear. I notice his map includes a bit of Newfoundland and Greenland. I'm guessing you guys will add some stuff there. But the map also includes the islands of Cape Verde, Madeira, the Azores, and also the Arctic islands of Svalbard, Jan Mayen and Novaya Zemlya. Any chances you will make provinces out of these places? :p

We already have Greenland and Novaya Zemlya (if I remember right; I think the southern end is included in an adjacent mainland province) in the current map. No idea what @futuregary has planned for the other places you mentioned.

Jan Mayen would be an insta-play from my side. :p

Those are leftovers; the current map was cut down from Umbra Spherae, which includes East Asia. Exactly what FutureGary is doing he's keeping secret, but I've been told he's using CrackdToothGrin's map as the basis for the next map change.
