In the file religions.txt I found#reveal_map = yes/no If yes, occupying capital or annexing country reveals all maps (default is yes if not specified)."

Does that mean if I change it to no, that
1) occupying an enemies capital gives NO maps?
2) ... SOME maps?
3) ... ONE map not yet known, adjacent to prior knowledge (just like stealing rutters)?
"

1. NO maps. This is used to ensure that Europeans can't explore all of the Americas simply by occupying one native nation's capital after another.

Too bad. Had it been similar to stolen rutters or some maps then I would have enabled it for all european religions to further slow down the spread of known provinces. But if it´s all or nothing then I let it be all (which after all is already somewhat reduced at the start by me now).
