Despite being pessimistic, I'd say I liked the game generally. I see you have to work with AI a lot as the stupidity of the past games seems to persist. Also, I didn't like the diplomacy.

I noticed the game is very very focused on war (logic...this is the napoleonic era) ! But that's a shame that the devs didn't talk more about diplomacy, buildings, economy...
It seems to be easier than the other Paradox games, so it'll be a good "first step" to learn how to play your games (Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron...) for a newbie.

Anyway, i'll buy this game at the "Day 1" for sure (like Europa Universalis IV and EvsW of course !) :happy:, and i'll show it to the french community with pleasure !

Diplomacy is too simple and it is too easy to DoW and anex. I think all minor nations in Germany will disappear in a year. And in 2 or 3 years, all minor nations on the map will dispear. Perhaps CB and BB are still needed.

I enjoyed the stream. It was very well done. Game looks promising, want to see more :)
 
I watched the start of the stream as i missed the beginning. There were several kinds of light, line infantry. Does it matter when forming your armies what kind you use or is it more like flavour ?
 
A definite buy for me though I think it was much too easy for Prussia to run riot over the minors without any reaction from any of the other great powers. I don't think Austria or France would have simply stood by and watched such events without declaring war. AI may need a tweak or two.
 
Honestly cannot wait for this game. I think this game and its progeny will crush the matrix-slitherine-ageod alliance. It has everything they have but better. Only bad thing is we have to wait until March.
 
All of you pessimists saying this game is missing a lot. Nonsense! I will look forward to the release of this game :)
