As you can guess by the title this thread, this concerns the whole: "death by suspicious circumstance"

Across many playthroughs I've noticed a tendency for a high number of characters to be assassinated. For example, I've come across an entire four generations of Tullys who haven't survived past 20 without being murdered. I find this absurd, and even loyal vassals seem to delight in murdering their lieges for seemingly no reason.

Is there any way to lessen the potency of these plots? Or to develop another way to keep vassals from their mass murder sprees? I'm not at all opposed to intrigue and assassination, being that this is GOT, but it is grating when entire generations of major dynasties are being murdered out of existence by Lord Joe Schmoe.
