Up until very recently I did not know there was a limit to the number of traits any given character could have before an event fired to remove one of them randomly. I asked around the general forums and found that each character in vanilla CK2 can have no more than five personality traits before the event in question fires to remove a trait. Is it the same in this mod? If so, what is the limit here?

There is no limit to how many traits you can give a character when using ruler designer as far as I know, but am sure there is an specific amount of personality traits a character can have before the event fires to remove traits. It is five traits for vanilla CK2 I think, but I wanted to know what was the number for this mod.

Something similar applies to lifestyle traits, except you're only allowed one. If you already have a lifestyle trait, you will NOT receive any lifestyle events; however, it is possible to gain more than one by certain events that grant them despite not being lifestyle events, or with the Ruler Designer. The same holds true for personality traits. Note: Poet and Falconer are NOT considered lifestyle traits, so snag them up if you can!

Knowing the limit to personality traits, one strategy people enjoy is using the Stewardship WoL focus on newbie rulers, as Stewardship has a number of good event gifting traits:
1.) Gain Just

, Diligent

, or Ambitious

2.) Level up stewardship education trait
3.) Level up modifiers toward lifestyle trait Administrator

(+3 stewardship)

Once you hit five personality traits, get off Stewardship, because it begins removing good traits in favor of negative ones. Not to mention you'll occasionally get the Stressed trait randomly.

As for how many personality traits AGoT offers?... Good luck. I've been posting feedback on this forum for a while on the Conclave inclusions alone without much success.

Personality traits will only be randomly removed if you have 6+ in the mod. This was only a recent change from the vanilla 5+ threshold.

So we shouldn't be seeing things like Robb Stark randomly losing just because having Ice plus a Direwolf (after winning the Independence war) means that he has too many traits?
