Yes Medieval World is a mod, I made it.
Always on 1 Feb 865? Hmm I will look into it. I assume it's probably a problem with the monarchs or events. It always worked fine for me.
Could you tell me which nation you were playing?

ohh yes, i play Varangians

Unfortunately I cannot find any reason why the game might crash on 1 Feb 865. I have tried the same game as the Varangians and experienced no problems.

I have the same problem (playing with Byzantium), but in relation with a specific fact: when Kazharia annexes Pechengs, the game crashes. So, to continue to play, i have to quit the game, and play that savedgame with Kazharia and at the end make a "no tribute peace with Pechengs". So, i can continue to play with Byzantium.

Another strange one elio, although I did change things with the pechenegs between v1.01 and v1.02 and I might have left some holes. May I ask how the Magyar are going? Have they taken Varad, Szegedin, Eger or Temeswar? And also what year is it?

That "realocation of citizens" event should be removed as it's just easy +1 stab. Also I played a game with Byzantium and i noticed that byz is too powerful, provs are too rich (ps: the "exceptional year" event should be modified, -5 inflation is too much).

You forgot to remove these words (byzantium events).
Code:
desc = "Under the influence of Bardas and Photios, Michael III the Drunkard presided over the reconstruction of ruined cities and structures, the reopening of closed monasteries, and the reorganization of the imperial university at the Maganaura palace. [COLOR="Red"]+1 inno (year 850 or 860)[/COLOR]"

desc = "Under the guidance of Patriarch Photios, Michael sponsored the mission of Saints Cyril and Methodios to the Khazar Khagan in an effort to stop the expansion of Judaism among the Khazars. Although this mission was a failure, their next mission in 863 secured the conversion of Great Moravia and devised the Glagolitic alphabet for writing in Slavonic. Noted. Although I often find there's too many stability damaging random events, having a couple of good ones aren't bad.

On Byzantium being too easy well I suppose I can try lower the province income but they were very rich at the time. Maybe I should just encourage their enemies to attack more or give them more damaging events?

I've looked into this more and yes there seems to be a problem with the Pechenegs. Whenever somebody annexes them, at the end of the month the game crashes. I don't know why or how to fix it. It's almost as though there's something funny about the tag U29. Anybody have any ideas?

EDIT: Found the problem. It seems I had both Khazaria and Pechenegs owning Yaik which created problems when wars are fought. The Pechenegs were listed as owning Yaik twice when the annexation occurred so the game got confused and crashed. Fixed for next version.
