I got this idea for a mod after playing through a couple long games as a King of Ireland and Leon. One thing I found is that nicknames added a lot of fun for me personally and made me remember that character even more. However, I also noticed that the chances of triggering nicknames are oftentimes pretty slim. I would go multiple characters without having a single nickname.
I also used the added nicknames from Syren's Nicknames Mod to add more nicknames and flavor.

All I really did was increase the chances of obtaining a nickname 500%. Some nicknames only had a 1% chance of triggering, and they were increased to 5%. I did double the chance of getting the nickname 'the Bastard' to 10% per year for my own personal tastes. I feel that if there is a ruler who is also a bastard, that would be a very defining trait about them.
Please post if you have any problems or issues, for the next few days I'll be running some more long games myself to test it.
Installation
Make a copy of your nickname.txt file in your /common folder of your CK2 directory. And then just copy it over.
