Multiplex Regna v0.1
The basic point of this mod is to make ruling over multiple kingdoms more efficient and a tad easier. As things stand now (in vanilla CK2) owning multiple kingdom titles has no real benefits other than prestige increase. On the other hand, your vassal dukes will want your kingdom titles as soon as you have more than one, making them extremely hard to keep in order. If by some twist of events your duke ends up owning duchies in multiple de-jure kingdoms you own, the penalty stacks up and easily becomes unmanageable.
This mini-mod adds a decision which becomes available as soon as you have multiple kingdoms and enough gold. It represents the consolidation of power from multiple kingdoms in terms of centralization and whatnot. Once you enact the decision your king gains a trait "Multiplex Regna". This trait makes all the vassals like the king a bit more. The size of the effect is scaled with regards to the number of kingdom titles you own (+5 for 2, +10 for 3 and +15 for 4 or more kingdom titles). Note that each new ruler will have to enact the decision again.
This is how it looks in-game:
Lets say, I managed to "acquire" multiple kingdom titles
As soon as I have the money, the decision notifier will pop-up
I can now enact the decision
Here is my shiny new trait (the orange icon)
And the effect on a random vassal of mine
Future plans:
-Make it so that the effect applies only to dukes, not all vassals (I have not been able to figure this out yet)
-Make it so that other kings resent your kingdom-hoarding represented by a small penalty in opinion (I have not been able to figure this out yet)
-Add specific events, decisions and various other flavor for rulers with multiple kingdom titles
Feedback:
Any feedback is more than welcome, especially if anybody knows how to implement the opinion modifiers specifically to dukes and foreign kings. I have tested this pretty extensively and there should be no issues.
