Not so much bugs but rather errors I've noticed thus far:

Provinces:

Eburones ("Yew People"): Were a small tribe from the forests of the Ardennes, remnants of the great Moselle Celts that had weathered the Belgae incursion. They were not animistic Germanics.

46 - Eburones.txt

#46 - Eburones

owner = EBU
controller = EBU
add_core = EBU
capital = "Atuatuca" # Tongeren
culture = celtic
religion = druidism

trade_goods = wood
population = 6
civilization_value = 35
barbarian_power = 0
split = 50.25.25

Treveri ("Ferrymen"): Were a tribe that occupied the Moselle Valley as far as the Rhine and again were the remnants of the great Moselle Celts that had weathered the Belgae incursion. They were not animistic Germanics.

The Tencteri (file name) were an unrelated Germanic tribe that arrived along the Atlantic coast / different area (fighting the Belgic Menapii) in the early to mid 1st C BC.

63 – Tencteri.txt

#63 - Treveri

capital = "Treveri"
culture = celtic
religion = druidism

trade_goods = horses
civilization_value = 30
barbarian_power = 5
split = 30.40.30

Cadurci ("Battle-boars"): Were a tribe hailed from the same group of Celtic migrants (eg. Arverni) that surplanted the Ligurians in the 7th c BC. They were druidic Celts, not animistic Aquitanians

32- Cadurci.txt

#32 - Cadurci

capital = "Cadurci"
culture = celtic
religion = druidism

trade_goods = grain
civilization_value = 30
barbarian_power = 4
split = 30.40.30

Leaders:

Ariovistus: The great Germanic Seubi leader of the 1st CBC appears to have been allocated to the Gallic Eburones? I would have thought the Seubi or at the very least the Sequani would have been a better choice.

540001 – Ariovistus.txt

name = "Ariovistus"

659.1.1 = { birth = 659.1.1 }

Ambiorix: Was an Eburone and hence a druidic Celt not an animistic Germanic.

Catuvolus: Was an Eburone and hence a druidic Celt not an animistic Germanic.

employer_country = EBU

643.1.1 = { birth = 643.1.1 }
701.1.1 = { death = 701.1.1 }

Diviciacus: Was the pro-Roman vergobret that appeared before the Roman Senate, then pleaded for the life of his rebellious rival brother, etc etc. I believe the trait of "vengeful" to be highly inappropriate.

510003 – Diviciacus.txt

name = "Diviciacus"
military = 5

add_trait = vengeful - ? diplomatic or some such would be more fitting?

Pseudo Briton Horde

PseudoBritonHorde.jpg

:confused: :wacko: :(
Anyone else getting 50-90 stacks of pseudo Briton hordes comming across the channel!?

If one tries to play the Aterbates, Nervii or Parisii, expect to have your civilisation rating gradually reduce to zero from waves of 'barbarians'.

The first one is not a bug, barbarian setups are not important. The second one is a known problem and we are looking into it.

Im aware that you probably have more important things to fix, but this still seems like a strange attitude.

First of all, he didnt say it was a bug, and secondly, if a knowledgable individual is so nice to share these corrections with you (and it must have been some work to go through the gamefiles, too), why not just log it and fix it once you have the time for it ?

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. In as far as setups go, admittedly they are not errors in the game mechanics, but they are errors nontheless. By "not important", do you mean with regard to this subforum or in general? ie would it be possible for some of the aforementioned to be considered in a future patch?

regards

Actually, if you play the Atrebates, those British hordes are never getting accross the sea. Just send your ship into the sea and keep it there for the next century if that's your thing. The sea zone just east of the Atrebates seazone. :)
