A place for anyone that want to come up with a few minor (or even sth bigger) bugs detected...

As for me, I've ecountered a problem that is similar to the one of DerekH:

database mismatch type=4712 id=25500 id already used

which occured, in my case, during the Spanish War (in the beginning of 1937, I think)

Moreover, there a few typos, e.g.:
* in Hindenburg crash event there is "Hindenburgburg". obviously one burg too much :rolleyes:
* I can't retell the exact events but there are a few case when German and Soviet are spelled with a minor letter ("german", "soviet")

Nationalist China has not claims upon a ComChi province Hohhot (this one that Inner Mongolia used to be set up in) - I predict that in a case that a NatChi player claims succesfully ComChi territory, that would leave Communists with only one province Hohhot. Is it deliberate?

as for AI... well generally it is just perfect. War in Asia is just as it should look like. However European Axis countries (Germany, Italy) are just a bit too strong (or maybe it's my feeling about two games that I've run - I'll make further tests). Surely Italy hasn't got any problems with entering Egypt and pushing Brits away from almost whole North-Eastern Africa

hmm I almost forgot - I've also got a result of Norway being declared war on by the Allies. OK, it's normal, I know there is an event for this. But about a year later (mid-1940) I saw Norway as a member of Allies but in war with all their members :eek: and actually at peace with Axis countries. Weird, isn't it?

I'll try to look for other bugs and make some more detailed notes about situations when they occur.

There is a fix for that data mismatch. The reason for these data mismatch errors is I implemented starting tech research for several nations. This is something no other mod has done. They all let the AI pick their initial techs to research.

Rest if these items I will look into. The reason for Comchi having that one hex is because of an AI issue. When China owned that hex and it would get surrounded except for the hexes that Comchi controlled the Chinese would said about 14 Corp there and ignore the rest of the Japanese border. So to avoid this problem I had two options.

1) Either remove the military access from Comchi and China to eachother
2) Give the hex to someone else to avoid the bug all together.

This happened because Germany DOWed Norway in November 1940. This must be hard coded since we have no events for that. Looks like a 1.06 bug.
Anyway, I fixed it for 1.1 : if UK will DOW Norway, then the latter will join Axis.
 
I also noticed something about the England AI: It will often invade the first half of Sicily and then build up its troops there forever, rarely attempting to break out(even with numerical superiority) or attempting a landing near Rome.

[Edit: I fixed this by making a convoy from washington to the english troops]

Something unrelated: as the USA, I've occupied most of Japan's VPs in China and all of their VPs in mainland Japan, but the option to puppet has a requirement of -3 dp's. I've seen this happen before with other countries, does anybody know the cause?

[Edit: Reloading my saved game fixed this]

And last of all, is there a way to replace the USA as the leader of the Allies once it joins? England doesn't seem to make much of an effort to bring the South Americans into the war.

Edit: Is it possible to give the "liberated" countries like Korea, Indochina etc their historical claims?

when i start the game with the super ai bundlev1.0 (the new one) when i select soviet union to play when it starts to load i get an error message

i get all types of messages like this when i start what i am to do
 
Did you install patch 1.06 for Hearts of Iron cause it is reporting that it does not understand the new comand in the AI file which is a new command in patch 1.06 for Hearts of Iron.
 
SU - Allies war possiblity

Ok, after few days being ill, I think I'm close to a moment when I can organize my thoughts and write some comments. :rolleyes:

Now - only one thing: AFAIK mentioned some day somewhere on Paradox forums. But that wasn't changed (intentionally? by mistake?) So...

In Altmark Incident and following war Germany can choose to stay at peace, DOW Norway or DOW Norway and Sweden. When they pick third option, both Norway and Sweden join Allies.

Also, there is an event of bombing some Swedish village (Pajala?) by Russians during Finnish Winter War when Sweden may respond with declaration of war to SU.

So, if Sweden is already Allied and DOWs Soviets, war between Allies and Comintern breaks out. It's rather arguable that such a small incident could make Soviets deadly hostiles for UK and USA, don't you think? I think it could be solved whether by making Swedish joining Finnish War possible only in case of being neutral, or SU signing peace with Allies immediately after outbreak of that war (similarly to end of SU<--> Poland war in Sept. 1939).
