I don't think this is a battletech bug because it's been working fine up until recently
I tried verify / repair and a restart of computer and still get this. game seems to be working otherwise.
Update. Found out you have to have mod disabled. apparently its not enough to delete the mods folder you also have to disable it on the startup screen.
