Hi all, I just downloaded the mod and installed it. The launcher comes up and I enable the mod and start the game and then it crashes on me on a loading screen.

Is there specific DLC that I need to have the mod?

I don't have the Raja's of India DLC, so should I just enable the main mod because I just tried that and I hear the music, get a white screen and then a crash to desktoo,
You don't actually need RoI DLC to play with the India part, it's just the map extension - you just won't be able to start there.

Okay, are you, by any chance, using additional mods alongside CK2Plus? Because that is another frequent cause of problems...

No, I am not using any other mods, and I don't believe I have the public beta- but how would I know this?

I'm sorry, but I'm having the same issue. I have 2.7.0.2, checksum WHCB, deleted the mod folder, re-created it (windows, correct directory), only installed CK2+, and it crashes on load screen. I've loved this mod and loved playing it, but havent played for about 6 months. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure how I can help you since it's working fine on my end. Plain and simply you're doing something wrong.
I really sometimes wish I had a crystall ball. honestly, I'm not being sarcastic here.

But let's try this.
Start vanilla. Does your *ingame* checksum match the checksum for 2.7.0.2? If not, that's your problem.
Now go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod, and make sure you removed any trace of CK2 Plus from there. DELETE IT.
Download the mod for 2.7.0.2, currently called BETA5.
Unpack that to somewhere. You should have 2 text files and 2 directories.
Copy those 4 files to C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod
Now, start the game. Click the mods tab and mark either just CK2Plus or BOTH CK2Plus mods (that will include India).
Make sure that no other mod is checked. I'll repeat this. NO OTHER MOD.
Now click play.
