Greetings everyone! This is our first official forums post from us on the HK:AoC development team. You have probably not heard of our mod yet, but it has been in development over the past few months and we are steadily moving along.
Our core mod is set in a post apocalyptic world of Hyrule where a few parallel timelines have re-converged following a grandiose act of divine intervention from the Gods and Goddesses that preside over the Heavenly Realms to prevent the total victory of the most ancient and powerful evil. Now, a thousand years after the re-convergence, the descendants of the survivors of these reforged timelines are thriving and beginning to come into conflict with one another over land and resources. At the center of the map is the continent of Hyrule, currently holding a diverse array of races and creatures with no large central authority holding sway over the entire land. The stories of the ancient Kingdoms of Hyrule have become reduced to be regarded as myths and legends by most of the inhabitants of the world, for only a few small groups--such as the monks of the hidden paradise of Sheikrilah--hold true historical records and knowledge in seclusion from outsiders. Beyond the shores of greater Hyrule lie a vast array of islands alongside four continents, each home to their own diverse populations and unique cultures just waiting to be explored.
Our team already has a handful of dedicated developers working on this project, but we are always happy to welcome anyone wishing to contribute. We are currently in dire need of graphic artists to help with a large workload of converting meshes and textures from the Hyrule Conquest and Hyrule: Total War mods (which were kindly gifted to us by Nephy, the creator of those illustrious mods) to the Crusader Kings 3 engine so we can use them as a base for portraits of the varying races of Hyrule. We also have significant need for coders, mappers, event writers, and 2D artists to assist us in this massive endeavor. We have also joined forces with the teams of the Kingdom of Hyrule mod of CK3 and the Triforce Kings mod of CK2 to pool our combined effort to bring the world of Hyrule to CK3.
