So there I was, at work, making delicious lattes, when I had an idea. So I thought I'd run it past y'all, and see if it was possible.

(1) At scenario start, all provinces are under the direct control of one guy. We'll call him King Bob. He has no court to start, no wife, no heirs. He's just one guy who woke up one morning and discovered he was the only noble left in Europe.

(2) Wouldn't his silly Empire fall apart nearly immediately, and wouldn't the revolters be pretty much all over the place? Thus creating a pretty much randomized start position?

Of course, with the AI in the state it seems to be in, not much in the way of order would emerge from the chaos, but it still seems like it would be Wicked Cool.

Is it possible, would it work? Inquiring (and modding illiterate) minds want to know.)

This would work splendidly in EU2. Also this would work in CK, if you make 'revolters' already independent in scenario setup, give Bob a claim at all of their lands and put all of them at war with Bob.

Hmm.. thinking more about this..

Wouldn't Bob deal with his massive holdings by creating a crap-load of vassals? Not revolters per say, but it should disintigrate pretty rapidly.

Only one way to find out, will try to mod it.)
