Once the community gets a better handle on how things work, I'd like to look at adding in some more factions, not major players, but minor league groups like :

Other companies (not just MMM)
Other Minor Aurigan Houses (these would appear post end game)
Other periphery factions that may be playing in the area
Other 'local' planetary level factions (other than pirates)

These wouldn't have rep, they'd be more like the Local faction.... though, I wonder if there is a way to make Pirate missions that then penalize on multiple other reps... hmmmmm....

Anyway, right now I am just beginning to futz around.

Local Uprising - could be used on multiple worlds to represent uprisings

Local Disadants - could be used on multiple worlds to represent anarchists

House Decimis (from Aurigan) - similar to local, but limited to the planets under their domain

Tortuga Dominion - maybe for some fringe of Taurian space raids

It is on the exact opposite side of the Inner Sphere - just about as far away as you can be. Though, he did come up in the Death From Above Twitch series - and he sent bounty hunters after Beta (IIRC).

It would be more likely to see some Marion Hegemony testing the waters in the area - maybe looking to gain some influence or stir up trouble to distract the MoC.

Could potentially see some far raiders from the Circinus Federation. Or some sort of one off mission series from Niops or the Mica Majority to recover some data (like a linked scavenger hunt mission).


Another idea I had is for the end game (after the campaign is over) - the below spoils the finally to some degree, so don't open unless you want it to be spoiled.

Would also be cool to trigger end game factions - such as Espinosa Loyalists that refused to back down after the war ends.

Could we get a Free Rasalhague Republic, please?

Sadly, the FRR doesn't exist until 3034. Though I will mention that Sunmire's backstory has her being from the Rasalhague Military District.

Could do the Illyrian Palatinate - which is also of Scandinavian ancestry... and is much closer to the region.
