I've been extracting the incompatible mods since the 2.8 update and addition of the Necroid DLC but have seen even with compatible mods (in the proper load order) a dramatic lengthening of the duration in loading the mods in. Distinctly this appears at the 30% progress bar point where a huge pause of greater than 30 seconds and also when 100% load is reached another smaller pause. Is this to be expected?

It's since the Failderation update. Before i could run 300 mods and while it did took a long time to run, it at least do not freezed permanently, and mod conflicts were not crashing the game. Since Failderation it completely clogs after more than 25 mods for me and mod conflicts often cause it to permanently freeze. I am absolutely livid because this and did not even played much. Hoped 2.8 with its focus on fixes and performance would reverse this but no.
Way to go destroying centerpoint of the game while claiming that modding is better. The other significant reason to play, achievements, are unsurprisingly broken too.
