It's my favorite pseudo-bug, I love the Flea and now HBS BT has it too!

Means a lot coming from you, JK. JK_Variants was one of the first mods I ever installed, doing it even before ModTek was available. Man I do not miss the VersionManifest editing days,

Hey, I ain't gonna tell you how to live your life, buddy. You wanna squash Fleas, you go for it (they might make you work for it though).

Thank you for the kind words - but that is nothing in comparison for the bounty you have delivered in your new 'Mech skins ;) Now, if we can figure out how to do vehicles :D

I hear you on the VersionManifest and MetadataDatabase editing days - I really am glad that ModTek/BTML are now cross platform so I no longer need to go through all of that !!

I've actually been working on some new stuff back and forth with @Dr. Banzai - he has been polishing up the LanceDef files, and we have added in Rarity tables for the variants. I've had several requests to integrate your works into them, hope you don't mind me adding them in. Right now they are an optional line you can trigger in the mod.json file that add new tags to all the 'Mechs for the various factions (though this also means some aren't currently available for the 3025 era).

Guess I'll be adding in the Flea as well now ;)

Thank you again!

Yeah, that was a bleak time. Glad we don't have to go back to it.

How does that actually work? I've been busy and haven't given it a real look over. I'm considering using said tables and editing for my own purposes (I have about 100-150 variants that aren't in circulation because I've never released them due to various reasons, all the Star League and Helm Core and Primitive designs) but am not familiar with the system you've put together. Is there a brief primer as to how to edit the system for my own use?

As long as you're not claiming my work as yours or including the bundle in your files, then I'm good with it (and I really doubt you're doing that, so we're all good :D). Carry on, my dude.

Appreciate it! Yes, all I am doing is inserting a merge file that mimics your names (which are the logical naming conventions anyway) and changes out the tags.

The new LanceDefs then use a variable name that checks the opfor faction and then pulls rarity based on the lancedef level.

For most odd value lances, I used include/exclude tags to allow a chance for an all common lance, or the possibility of 2 uncommon, 1 rare & 1 very rare. For the even values there is a greater rare chance. The Assasimates and high end missions then give chances for Ext_Rare or extinct models showing.

Shoot me a holler in discord (justinkasetoo) and I can show you what I have thus far - which includes your works.

I also have a long tag list for SL era stuff I haven't released yet, if you want I can help merge those in as well.

The original idea was fro @Sabrist - we spent a bunch of time working on it, but the HBS code wasn't pulling it correctly. They fixed it in 1.2. But it broke again in 1.3. The BattletechPerformanceFixer fixes it (and it should be back in 1.4).
