I made a feature request for this already, and I'm not certain if it's possible to do with the mod tools included in the game, but...

Later in a game it becomes very tedious and irritating to have to order building maintenance by hand for each building type, over and over, especially at higher game speeds.

To avoid ruining early-game immersion, I'd love to see a Tech that adds automated maintenance to buildings. Ideally it would be an upgrade to Drone Hubs that lets the hub detect the Deterioration of buildings in its range, and based on a threshhold set by a simple UI slider, create a repair request when it reaches xx% Deterioration.

That may be a tough ask for a mod, however, so an easier way might be to append the auto-maintenance code onto each building class.

I've looked at the modding tools, but something this in-depth is well beyond my capabilities, sadly.

But building maintenance is already automatic. If you get a lot of buildings that don't work anymore because of maintenance, you should get more drones.

Yeah, heh, I just figured that out.

I'd never actually allowed a building to reach the end of the bar where it calls a drone itself.

Still would be nice to be able to eventually have a building summon a drone before it's 1 Sol from ceasing functioning, late-game.
