Spartans for Sparta gives all high martial Spartan characters body armor and helmets:

I created this simple mod to add extra flavour to my first 2.0 playthrough as Sparta. It doesn’t have any effect on gameplay, but might help with roleplay. This is Sparta!

You should do a community flavor mod like in CK3 but for Imperator! I'd totally support it.
