Hyperlanes, at this current moment, are seemingly very underutilised - however, if there's a mod that adds ships that use a system based off an unlimited warp drive that is insanely slow. Yes, I am saying huge hyperlanes across galaxies can be possible, but they'd take upwards of 100 years to draw - I have no idea how to code something, or if the current client even allows for such a thing, however, I feel that it would add a unique aspect to hyperlanes, allowing strategic planning with hyperlanes.

As far as i'm aware no its not currently possible to script FTL methods. Although you could speed up hyperlanes using the defines file to change the default stats. Alternatively you could create a tech which say reduces charge time by 90%.
