Hello,

First time I come to this forum, I hope to be on the right one.

I am currently creating a mod that adds music, but the sounds crackle strangely (I hope to use the right terms, I'm not English). It's not constant, those are just small crackles but very common.
Sounds are good outside the game, it's only in game that this is a problem.
I followed the wiki conditions : "the file should have 32 bits, a 44.1kHz frequency and a 192KB/s bit frequency".

I don't know where the problem can come from, would it be because of the conditions above? Would it no longer be up to date?

Thank you very much to anyone who can enlighten me.

Solution
Are you sure that they are 44.1 kHz? In the game, I have heard cracking noises in the tracks from the dharma music DLC which use 48 kHz and resampling them to 44.1 kHz seems to fix it(playing the .ogg files with a normal music player doesn't have the cracking noise).

Thank you very much!

That's right, the problem is in relation to that. Normally they are fine, but following your answer, I tried decreasing to 44.0 instead of 44.1 and it removes the cracks (I only tried on the maintheme, but I imagine it will follow everywhere). I think there must be a problem in the decimals, maybe my music is closer to 44.2 than 44.1. I will work on that. Thank you again very much!
