Hello,
i have a problem with my imported mesh (turret).

I have a problem brightness according angle. I do not understand the origin of the problem. I think it comes from the mesh and no texture, but I can not seem to be settled the problem.

I think the normals are inverted. If you have 3Ds Max you can load the Model into there, make it to a Editable Polygon and use the Polygon selection to select all dark parts and than with a right click flip the normals, after that try it again ingame. Maybe it works and atleast you are farther then me with modding in Ships.

No no, it's not inverted normal. I use 3ds Max (i hate Maya) for modelize ;)

that's why I do not understand where does the error. According I turn the camera texture appears or it gets dark.

I have tested :
- A mesh created by 3ds Max and imported in Maya with .obj and .fbx
- A mesh created directly with Maya
- A new mesh (cube) created with Maya for test with and without texture

But all models bugs. The models are ok and they not inverted. I think a light bug, but i don't understand where is it.

Informations when i export my model with pdxexporter :

Total vertices: 108
Total triangles: 60
Total drawcalls: 1
Total joints: 0

Box001Shape:
Mesh[0]:
Joints: 0
Vertices: 108
UV sets: 1
Triangles: 60

Shader: PdxMeshShip
Diffuse: turret_diffuse.dds
Normal: turret_normal.dds
Specular: turret_specular.dds

pdx_exporter -s 0 -fz 1 -sm 0 -svm 0 -es 0 -cga 0 -v 0 -m 1 -a 0 -b 1 -ct 0 -lp 0 -sps 15 -f asset -bd "X:/Steam/steamapps/common/Stellaris/" -ep "X:/Steam/steamapps/common/Stellaris/stellaris.exe" -d "output/"

Mh...just a guess again, but could it be the texture? I have the most problems with that especially from other games. For Example I can't see the textures on my ship that good as on yours, because it seems to have something missing..dont know what, but when I rotate the camera in the right angle it shows me a part of the texture and the rest buggy.
