I have been encountering a variety of problems with localisation files.

Specifically, when I have included a traits.csv with additional lines in it, other text - including lines in units.txt - mis-displays.

The extra lines in traits.csv itself display correctly so long as the file is read-only (new traits have the correct names) but things like "cohort", "1,000", unit type names, and various other stuff is mis-displayed.

I am pretty confident the extra lines I added to traits.csv have the correct number of ;; in them.

by translating your mod i had the same problem.

and this was helping:
put a line feed (ENTER) at the end of the file or (if there is such a feed) delete it.

in some of the localisation files (esp. event-descriptions) its better to have a line feed at the end, in others (esp. modifier-descriptions) its better to delete it.

no idea, why - but it works.
