I'm trying to figure out how to add Strategic Resource requirement to ship modules. So far no luck with this. Is this even possible?

I would think not, I took a quick look at the code, cost = is just a int or float that get placed elsewhere in the code to be stated of the mineral cost. If you look at other modules like buildings they separate each cost by type. No seperation means most likely no its not possible at this point.
This is an interesting idea though. Endless Space sometimes forces you to go to war or trade for the strategic resource in question to maximize the potential of your ships, especially as you get to the more rare strategic resources and the more powerful modules.
