im sure this has been asked and answered before, but can anyone tell me if unit stats modding like in mod 34 works in aod?

I have some questions too.

1., Is it or will it be possible to edit the stats of the policy sliders (like EUIII)?
2., Is it or will it be possible to trade provinces with someone not in your alliance (like Victoria 1)?
3., Is it or will it be possible to add new country colors ?

1) Its on the wishlist, but not currently planned for any patches.
2) Easely added, however this would propably only add to exploits, and not semething that should be enabled per default in a semi historical ww2 simulation - But if a modding team requests it i will add it as a feature request.
3) Was added today as requested feature - so yes there will be more flexible country colors.

The Name tags are still an integral part of the europa engine.

You will just have to use the extended range of tags added
U00
U99
UA0
UA9
UB0
UB9

Etc.

Another note:
You can not set the speed to "extremely fast" in the country selection screen. This should be fixed too. (it was for FtG)

And you can not takeover techteams the "demand territory" or via event way. (for instance if you are GER and you demand territory/gain it via the munich events from CZE, you don't get the CZE techteams)

Since most Demand Territory is for specific provinces (not the whole country), I would assume that it works correctly. The only Demand Territory I could see where one could/should gain the tech teams, is Lux.

the munich events
But the Munich event never gave all of CZE. After receiving the Sutdenland, Germany took CZE and annexed it. That would give you their tech teams.

But I can also think of the Baltic countries as USSR (Although you don't really need their tech teams), plus, we can never think all the possible scenarios players are going to recreate, so, if this is easily fixed, I would go for it (not of top importance though)

Hey, those 1s, 2s, & 3s tech are so awsome!!

Yea, maybe a check to see if the territory demanded [& it's awarded to the demanding country] results in the country not having any territory. Then award the tech teams to the demanding country.
