How far is it possible to mod this? If I want to make other sorts of engineer attachement, say bridge-engineer and mine-engineer, or even pyrotechnician, what do I have to do? I found a list of all the currently available in the demo:

Code:
allowed_brigades =  artillery
allowed_brigades =  anti_tank
allowed_brigades =  anti_air
#allowed_brigades =  rocket_artillery
#allowed_brigades =  sp_artillery
#allowed_brigades =  sp_rct_artillery
#allowed_brigades =  tank_destroyer
#allowed_brigades =  light_armor_brigade
#allowed_brigades =  heavy_armor
#allowed_brigades =  super_heavy_armor
#allowed_brigades =  armored_car
#allowed_brigades =  engineer
#allowed_brigades =  police

I think you can't add more brigades as they require hard-coded stuff. However, you can add different models of the existing engineer with different values. Just look into the file for artillery how it is done. Note however that the AI & the upgrade function will always update the model with the highest number.

Ok, I guess all you can do is to rename them in the other file and set another model number. Gotta find the correct the name file. I saw one csv file with brigade model names (Hummel, Konigstiger, etc.) I messed around a bit and suddenly the demo won't run at all. I don't know anything about how this works. :p

However I got this new idea:
If it's possible to make an event that disbands an obsolete start-up panzer div, that might be done to trigger another event that adds a light tank brigade, or sp -arty to the attachment pool. (in addition to cost some supplies, etc.) That might be triggered each year, and offer you the opportunity to disband if you still have any start up crappy panzers. Such as the germans did with their pzkfw II and III. Could it be possible to make such an event?
