I thought it could be make at the MDS for Darkest Hour.
Are you'd be interested?
The MDS3 would be similar to MDS2.
But with the DH can be learned much more than an ordinary HoI2.
What do you think?
And of course, need people to work!

I am doing Modern War and that's basicly MDS2 but with some big changes. Maybe you can help out with us if you can?
 
piajr u should aid supeerme it'll make the project go alot faster and more work done.
 
Before I got hit by a ludicrous workload in real life, I was heading up the MDS project for AoD. I can only apologise for disappearing without a trace, but now that I have some semblance of a life back I've been working on converting MDS to Darkest Hour.

So far, I've managed to transfer over to the DH map (which is far better for depicting the modern world than the standard HoI map, IMHO), which I can assure you has been a very slow process (and I haven't even started on reworking the events in this regard), but I am getting there. My problem at the moment is creating the new nations that the old map couldn't depict; I was able to add Bhutan under the U20 tag, but adding it's flag seems to crash the program. Odd.

Ideas are more than welcome. However, first priority is coverting to DH, and fixing any bugs I find in the process (I'm currently dealing with a tricky one whereby the game crashes at the end of a land battle, for example).
 
A question related to what I mentioned in the post above this one; what exactly could be causing it?

Basically, DH will crash once the player concludes a land battle, regardless of the outcome. It doesn't affect battles between two AI countries, leading me to believe that the problem lies in opening the message box informing you of the result of the battle. However, I can't determine which file the game is trying to access when the crash occurs, so this is only a hypothesis for now.

Any ideas?
