Modifiers don't add to advantage when added during combat

Description​

If, while already in combat, a character receives a modifier that affects combat stats (e.g., Advantage), those stats don't seem to actually have any effect on the combat that is underway. For example, if you have a modifier that adds 2 Advantage, the modifier will be added as a factor to the list of sources providing advantage, but the actual differential will not change.

Looking at the attached image, you can see a modifier is providing +2 Advantage, making the difference 11, but the differential shown is still 9. I experimented with this in a mod, and it does not seem to only be a visual bug. The game seems to not be counting modifiers when added during combat.

Perhaps this is working as intended, but that the game lists any modifiers as soon as they are added, it makes me think that this is a bug.

Steps to reproduce​

Apply a modifier providing Advantage to a character who is already in combat and notice how the differential remains unchanged.
