Get hold of Cambridge Ancients Histories - Vols VI - VIII, I believe. They contain genealogies of the Seleucids, Macedonians, Ptolemies, Attalids, Pontines and Bithynians, IIRC.

Two books I know of will be of help: Monacrchs of the Nations of the World and the massive four-volume Regents of Nations. Those two, especially the latter, will have all the information you could ever want.

A very useful book is the "encyclopedia of military history". a great one volume (VERY THICK) general reference.
