Nobody's sure yet what we call it... anyway, this is the Percy family who conspired with Owain Glendwr to take the North. They needn't all be used - I can't see them not being gobbled up by Scotland or someone before 1819.

A Percy line, of course, relies on aberrating only from the end of the 14th Century, not the 1066 thing - if people want to preserve the 1066 aberrated stuff, it needs a rethink and more changes and more debates ;)

Shields as well

Here are shield graphics (provisionally named XXX since we don't know what to call it) for the proposed country, based on the arms of the Percy family:

This will be added, depending on the game effect. If it makes British Isles really screwy, it won't go in.

But for now, it looks good, and it probably will.

I'll call it something like Mercia or Percyville if you don't think up a name.
 
I still think Northumberland would be good name. The Percies were earls of Northumberland historically too.
